# Getting Started

## Requirements

DevTool requires Unity 2021.3 LTS or higher.

We aim to support all upcoming Unity versions, but keep in mind that **Alpha and Beta versions of Unity are not officially supported**. This is because Unity can introduce changes under the hood that break DevTool functionality, and we need some time to adjust and push fixes.

* **Unity 2019.4 (LTS)**

*The DevTool can also be used on earlier versions of the Unity engine, but Unity rules restrict support for archived versions of the engine. As a result, we do not guarantee 100% compatibility with earlier versions.*
