# Get XY

Node description and basic instructions

### Description

Store x and y axis values to separate keys.

**To create it**, right-click in the editor and select <mark style="color:purple;">Create Node/Tasks/Vector2/Get XY</mark>

This task node has a number of fields, that are highlighted in picture below.

| Node Name         | Name of node.                           |
| Ignore About Self | Whether node ignores abort self or not. |
| Vector 2          | Key of vector.                          |
| Store X           | Key to store x axis of vector.          |
| Store Y           | Key to store y axis of vector.          |
