# Clamp Magnitude

Node description and basic instructions

### Description

Vector with its magnitude clamped to maxLength.

**To create it**, right-click in the editor and select <mark style="color:purple;">Create Node/Tasks/Vector3/Clamp Magnitude</mark>

This task node has a number of fields, that are highlighted in picture below.

| Name              | Description                             |

| Node Name         | Name of node.                           |
| Ignore About Self | Whether node ignores abort self or not. |
| Vector 3          | Key of vector.                          |
| Max Length        | Key of float with max length.           |
